A story about one’s dance with dreams and self-doubt

A young, aspiring flower farmer begins the journey of planting her first crop. She envisions fields that will grow an abundance of flowers that bring beauty and joy to her and those all around her. But as she works the land, she soon encounters unexpected opposition. She expected hard work, elements, and disease; she expected criticism or doubt from those around her, but what surprises her is the voice of the critic that she finds in her own head. As she continues working to pursue her dream, that critic gets louder and more aggressive. At first, she can ignore it but eventually finds that she has no option but to turn inward and face what she finds there.

This is the story of pursuing our dreams: the daily struggle to persevere amidst self-doubt, learning to face our fears, and choosing to sit with the dark spaces within ourselves. Sometimes our biggest opposition is ourselves, and we will never truly fully reach our potential and impact the world around us until we turn and face the monsters within.
